Logan Linck, EMT, Gold cross ambulance

Logan Link has been a part of Emergency Medical Services for only a short period of time but has already made his impact on the community.

On June 9, 2023 he was dispatched to a residential structure fire with potential patients. Bystanders indicated there was a person inside the burning house. After a swift evaluation of the situation, a decision was made to make a lifesaving patient extrication. Logan displayed extraordinary courage in the face of danger without reservation or hesitation. Logan followed direct instructions by his partner and in doing so the crew could safely and quickly extricate the patient.

Logan displayed courage and composure well beyond his years of service, for this he is being nominated for a 2023 Star of Life award.
