Fire Service Identifies with use of Community Paramedicine/MIH

In this episode of EMS to the Point, we discuss the emerging trend of community paramedicine/mobile integrated healthcare.

As Wisconsin agencies look at, evaluate, and take hold of this healthcare delivery model, and identify high 911 utilize or work to fill gaps, things are being realized.

North Shore Fire Rescue began a community paramedicine pilot program several months ago.  Fire Chief Robert Whitaker and his team identified key items in starting their program, beginning a high 911 utilizer group.
