Advocacy day is a day when EMS departments, from rural to urban, can talk with their state legislators and share issues and policies that are important to them.

10 a.m. Morning Session—participants will gather for an issue briefing, legislator panel, and preparation for the afternoon visits. Participants will receive a folder of information for their use, and a separate folder to take to their legislative representatives. 12 p.m. Lunch (included) 12:30 p.m. Afternoon Session—participants will walk to the Capitol and visit their legislators to discuss the issues detailed in the morning sessions.
3:00 p.m. Conclusion—all visits should be finished up.
