December 17, 2011 - Run Time 13:30
Guest: Gary Wingrove, Government Relations & Strategic Affairs, Mayo Clinic Medical Transportation
This webcast discusses something new in EMS – a means to voluntarily report equipment failures, patient adverse reactions to medications or treatments, and other safety concerns. E.V.E.N.T. stands for “EMS Voluntary Event Notification Tool”. It is emerging as the central point or clearinghouse of things that can or do go wrong in EMS delivery and operations. Through non identifiable self reporting, contributors share their experience through this important industry-wide notification tool.
